To provide a seamless and secure charging experience across our network, we collect the following types of information:

• Personal Identity Data: Name, email address, phone number, and corporate TIN details (if you request formal tax invoices).
• Vehicle & Hardware Data: The MAC address of your EV, battery capacity, and charging acceptance rates (BMS data) required for Dynamic Load Management (DLM).
• Location Data: GPS data when you use the "Station Finder" or navigation routing algorithms. We also use ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) at specific premier hubs to prevent unauthorized parking (ICEing).
• Transaction Data: Charging session duration, kWh dispensed, and idle fees incurred.

The data we collect is utilized strictly to facilitate and optimize your charging sessions on the EV-UP platform:

• To reserve charging bays, authenticate your vehicle upon plug-in, and manage auto-lock mechanisms.
• To process FPX gateway transactions and manage your prepaid EV-UP wallet balance securely.
• To provide live telemetry diagnostics to our engineering team in the event of hardware or connector faults.
• To notify you of station outages, offline status, or when your vehicle has reached 100% State of Charge (SoC).

We implement enterprise-grade security to protect your data. We do not store your biometric data.

When you use FaceID or Fingerprint authentication, the verification happens entirely within your mobile device's native Secure Enclave. The EV-UP app only receives a cryptographic boolean (True/False) to grant access. Furthermore, our hardware utilizes encrypted WebSockets to securely ping our servers, maintaining our 98% network SLA without exposing your active session data to public networks.

You have full control over your data. At any time, you may:

• Unbind Vehicles: If you sell your EV, you can unbind its MAC address directly from your profile, clearing your historical association with the vehicle.
• Request Deletion: Upon requesting account deletion, all Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is permanently scrubbed from our active databases.

Note: We retain strictly anonymized, aggregate data (such as total kWh dispensed) for grid analytics, accounting compliance, and hardware lifecycle modeling.
